FAQs
Welcome! I know trying something new with your kids takes energy you might not have right now. So, here are the quick answers to your biggest questions about The Skies and Tales.
What age is this podcast for?
Our sweet spot is ages 4 to 9.
For the younger ones (4-6): They love the gentle characters (like the Brave Tissue Box!) and the soothing repetition.
For the older ones (7-9): They enjoy the problem-solving and the deeper themes in stories like The Logic Labyrinth.
Note: Many parents of 3-year-olds tell us it works like magic for naps, too!
Are the stories scary?
No. We have a strict "No Nightmares" policy. Our stories have gentle adventures and small problems to solve (like a sneeze or a lost item), but there are no monsters, loud scary noises, or intense villains. It is designed to be a safe, soft place for their minds to land.
My child is very high-energy. Will they actually sit still for this?
You might be surprised! Because there is no screen to stare at, many high-energy kids actually focus better on audio. It lets their body relax while their mind gets busy imagining the pictures.
Tip: Try playing an episode while they are coloring or playing with LEGOs. It keeps their hands busy and their ears open.
Where can I find the stories?
You can listen right here on the website! Or, you can find us on all your favorite podcast apps:
Can I listen without internet?
Yes! If you follow us on a podcast app (like Spotify or Apple Podcasts), you can download episodes to your phone. This is a lifesaver for flights, car rides, or camping trips where you need a "quiet button" but have no Wi-Fi.
Who is the voice behind the stories?
That’s me, Pravallika! I’m a parent just like you. I write, narrate, and produce these stories from my own home, often inspired by the things my own kids are going through.
How often do you release new episodes?
We release a brand new story every Friday. It’s the perfect way to kick off a cozy weekend or wind down after a busy week of school.
